Hello my dear friends,
it is a great feeling to be with you again. As always, I missed your comments, your thoughts, and talking about them together. Your comments always make me very happy; craft, aesthetics, perception, perspective, dimensions, distances...
I know that we have a lot in common with you, so I prepare my works and stories meticulously.
You are witnessing the hard work and days of a craftsman. I try to present my whole workshop life to you as naturally as possible. I hope you will enjoy watching as I did while working.

In this work, I share with you the restoration and woodworking of three baroque coat rack hooks. The ornaments of these hooks made of brass metal are quite beautiful. These brass metal objects had many casting defects and were also not leveled. Of course, they were also exposed to misapplications over time.
I worked with patience and diligence. I think they eventually turned into jewels. They turned out so beautiful that I wanted them to be always in front of my eyes on the wall and i decided to make a wall coat rack. Next to such an ornate and beautiful object, the wooden part should have been calm, simple, strong and aesthetic. As usual, I decided on the final form in the process. I like to follow the flow of the wood. Brass metal, copper and wood are embodied in this long work. I am very happy to have documented such an artisan work. You will see many nice scenes about restoration, woodworking, wood finishing , wood stain, rasping, vintage hand tools and how to use them, hand mill, lathe work etc.
At many points i had to work like a sculptor. In my woodwork, I really love the meeting of the full grain and end grain and you will see that. Kind of a live edge wood form.
I preferred scrap wood for woodworking. I love the regeneration and recycling of waste wood. It's actually a kind of upcycle.
As a result; wooden and brass metal objects that do not overshadow each other...
I was very satisfied with the result.

While presenting all this craft work to you, I tried to share my aesthetic perception and beauty philosophy with you as much as possible and as always, I added my love for nature and animals.
Also as always, my dear cat co-workers were very helpful in this project.
I hope you like this work of mine, where I live many seasons of life together.

PS;
I broke my two ribs after I broke the kitty mug :)
