Installing an Oil Catch Can is a great idea on Direct Injection, Turbo, or modified vehicles in general. It can prevent oil vapors, condensation, and blow by from running through the intake system. This helps a lot with carbon build up on Direct Injection engines as they don’t have port injected fuel to clean the intake valves. This Turner Motorsport Oil Catch Can and Drain System made for the F80 M3 F82 M4 F8x S55 engines is well designed and looks like it was there from factory. Make sure you check the catch can frequently, especially in the first weeks of installing it. If you are in a cold climate where it is always below freezing, you may want to run an OE PCV system to prevent from freezing and causing issues with the breather system. I have linked Turner’s universal system as well as the exact fit for the F8x platform. Thanks for watching!
