A DIY modified version of the Zelph Starlyte alcohol stove optimized for minimal fuel consumption and fast water boil times at high altitudes.
FAQs:
* The black "hole" at about 12:28 and seen during the burn trail at the end of the video is original black can paint in a dent - not a hole.
* The unit was tested over several years at altitudes of 10,000-12,000 feet
* Faster boil with lid on: For video purposes, I kept the lid off so you could see the boil process and realize I wasn't rigging the results. It will boil marginally faster with lid on.
* 5/8" brass grommet kit can be found at any hardware supply store - very common
