Demonstration of compromising the MacKay Guardian XLE smart parking meter implemented in San Francisco (SFMTA) circa 2009.

We used a Microchip PIC-based smartcard with custom code to emulate the legitimate communication and send modified data to obtain the maximum allowable card value.
