It's finally official! Adrian Newey will leave Red Bull Racing during the first quarter of the 2025 season. While this may be bad news for Red Bull, it could be a blessing in disguise for Mercedes as they look to get back to their winning ways. Since the start of the 2024 season, Mercedes has been looking for someone to fill the shoes of Lewis Hamilton who will be leaving the team after this year. Newey's departure from Red Bull might have just paved the way for Mercedes' next driver.
