For my final project at Fabricademy barcelona, FabLab BCN, I explored ways of upcycling textile waste using fungi and more especially their mycelium. This video is a tutorial on how to make a composite mycelium-textile, using textile waste as a substrate for the mycelium growth.

This tutorial explains how to make the composite leather step by step in a DIY way, accessible to all, hoping people can make their own materials at home and explore new ways to upcycle textile.
