Collins Santhanasamy, an Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity in Southeast Asia, says he is 'grateful' that Feeney, who died in October 2023 invested so much in people.

(Charles) Chuck Feeney gave away his $8 billion fortune through The Atlantic Philanthropies which as its ‘last big bet’ funded Atlantic Fellows. Feeney ensured that it was the people with the expertise on the ground who were empowered to deliver the change his financial support enabled.

Collins is just one of over 900 Fellows, working in over 80 countries, with the same goal: Equity.
