For round 4 of the Little Sentiments contest. This round was Agape, unconditional love.

Ciri is Geralt's Child Surprise, bound to him by fate. Yet she's also so much more to him. She's his daughter by choice and he would do anything for her, including take on the impossibly powerful Wild Hunt.

The mutations he went through to become a witcher make Geralt nearly emotionless, yet it's obvious how much he care about Ciri: from how he nearly faints when he thinks she's dead, to how much he laughs and smiles when they're together. And when she leaves to stop the White Frost, he lets her go, knowing he can't stop her, but also wishing for all the world he could do it for her so she could be safe.
