The D23 Expo weekend begins with the Legend Ceremony where Bob Iger, Disney Chairman and CEO, inducts new legends into the prestigious group. This year's inductees were Robert Downey Jr., Diane Sawyer, Jon Favreau, Robin Roberts, Christina Aguilera, Ming Na Wen, Kenny Ortega, Wing Chao, James Earl Jones, Bette Midler, Barnett Ricci, and Hans Zimmer. Christa Aguilera also performed Reflection from Mulan.
