Mascots for a Cure recently challenged Mayor Joe Stahura, Mayor of Whiting, IN (future home to the Mascot Hall of Fame), to do The Twist for 36 seconds, to raise awareness and funds for Childhood Cancer.

Mayor Stahura chose to video this challenge on December 2nd, 2016 following the City of Whiting's annual Illuminated Christmas Parade, where the community gathered to carol and witness the holiday lighting of City Hall. With announcement by himself and MHOF Executive Director, Al Spajer, everyone joined in and did the Twist to raise awareness for the search of a cure for childhood cancer.
