Off Season Training:

1️⃣ Size and Strength work

Lift heavy weights.

Don’t be afraid to build some fatigue throughout the training sessions and training weeks.

Eat enough to grow if that’s your goal.

2️⃣ Sprinting

This is often overlooked.

Avoiding sprinting off season is a recipe for a hamstring strain when sport training ramps up.

Try to hit a consistent sprint stimulus each week.

3️⃣ Aerobic Base work

If you’re doing a lot of sport practice you might not need this.

But if your sport taxes the aerobic system and you’re not getting aerobic work from sport, you need to train it.

Going into the preseason with good aerobic conditioning can make recovery from sport training sessions much better so that the focus can be on skill development.
