In this video I explain how to replace an ignition coil connector on a Toyota 2AZ-FE engine. Ignition coil connectors on these engines tend to break when disconnected from the ignition coil. It's a common issue. The fix is to replace the connector. These connectors are readily available from rockauto.com. The process I use to replace them is to de-pin the new connector. Then de-pin the old connector one pin at a time. Each pin from the old connector is inserted into the new connector one at a time and in the correct order. Once the old pins are installed into the new connector then the connector can be reconnected to the coil.
