What’s going on YouTube!!! I plan on doing many mods to my 2010 GMC Sierra SLT 5.3 and hope you guys follow to see the progress!!! Check out how to Disable the AFM for free!!! This will save me some money for now haha. I still plan on purchasing a tuner but for now this shall do!!! Let me know your thoughts and if I’m doing this right!!! Also, another reason for the horrendous MPG you saw in the video is because I’m usually working out the truck and always have it running to keep the AC on...it has been a hot summer so far in New England!

HOW TO DISABLE AFM: Enter your truck to manual mode, select a gear up until 5th gear or shift as you drive. The truck will never leave V8 Mode. I haven’t tested yet but at 6th gear the truck will activate AFM.
