Human Empowerment and Welfare Trust (HEWT, for short) is an organization that was started in 2012
in Karachi, Pakistan with the intent to eliminate poverty, one family at a time.

To alleviate poverty amongst poorest of the poor people, HEWT provides its beneficiaries with interest-
free micro-credit loans, the capital they need to start small home based businesses.

HEWT has over 3,500 beneficiaries from Karachi to Gilgit and cities in between.
