TALKING POINTS TO ENGAGE WITH YOUR CHILD AND DEVELOP NEW VOCABULARY:
*First we make sure we are sitting safely. Babies sit in special baby car seats and bigger kids have their own rear facing car seats or booster seats. We put on our seatbelts and make sure they are nice and snug. Safety in the car is very important.

*When everyone is ready, we can go! The driver starts the car and we start moving. Let's look outside and see how the world changes as we drive. Is the car going fast or slow? Are there a lot of cars on the road? What colors are they? Do you see buildings or nature? What else can we do in the car? Can we sing songs? Or maybe listen to audiobooks.

*When we finally arrive, we get out of the car, grab our things from the trunk and go explore the new destination. Is it very different from our home?
