Thorn made waves becoming the first non-binary actor playing a non-binary character in a Dutch TV-show, ANNE+. 

Thorn has a real desire to learn and speak about the lack of representation in the media of people living outside the gender binary.

Indeed, they believe that you can’t be what you can’t see, and according to Thorn, it’s time to shake things up.
