In this video I will show you how to assemble the Embrace Making Spool Stand X and show it's various accessories and use cases / configurations.

The Spool Stand X is a free standing, low friction spool stand and holder to relocate your filament spools off of your 3D printer. This is especially useful for printers with awkward and inconvenient spool holders such as the Creality K1 where the original holder is located on the back of the 3D printer. This original placement makes it difficult to access and impossible to see.

Relocating your spool with the Spool Stand X allows you to access your filament and more easily view how much filament you have left. Additionally, by integrating the Super Deluxe Spool Holder the amount of force to pull the filament spool is greatly reduced which is very useful for high speed printing.

Optional accessories such as the PTFE tube guide and Creality filament runout sensor mounts can be purchased to enhance the Spool Stand X and create a more favorable filament path. Currently there are two available runout sensor mount options for both 2 hole and 4 hole style Creality runout sensors. Take note that you will have to use a 3 pin JST XH extension wire to relocate your filament runout sensor if you choose to perform that modification.
