In this comprehensive guide, I'll walk you through everything you need to consider when choosing luggage, so you can find the perfect piece for your needs.

Here are some of the things you'll need to think about when choosing luggage:
Size: How much stuff do you usually pack? If you're a light packer, you can get away with a smaller carry-on bag. But if you're a heavy packer, you'll need a larger checked bag.
Type: There are two main types of luggage: hard shell and soft shell. Hard shell suitcases are more durable and can protect your belongings from damage, but they're also heavier and more expensive. Soft shell suitcases are lighter and more affordable, but they're not as durable.
