As a long time fan of fast estates cars, I'd be looking forward to seeing what Audi could do to improve the old RS6 with the new 'C8' generation model. I'd driven A6 and S6 extensively but it took nearly a year after launch for me to get behind the wheel of the new RS6. Rather than just do a test drive, I put it up against what was the current bfast Audi estate, the 450PS RS4 that I'd driven in 2018 and absolutely loved. Can it beat my benchmark or does it fall flat when shown a corner just like every RS6 of the past? Let's find out.
