2007 was an interesting time for General Motors. It was right before the economic downturn that helped seal their fate and lead into their bankruptcy.

It was also a time of some REALLY fun and exciting cars! Exhibit A: the 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP, a RWD, manual-equipped, turbocharged roadster on its own unique platform developed for driving excitement (something the brand stood for). I wanted one of these so bad throughout my college years and finally get to drive one thanks to my friends over at House of Cars here in Tyler, Texas. Is it as genius as its stats suggest?
