The Matrix LED System allows the driver to travel in his vehicle with a permanent high beam without risk of dazzling oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. Technically speaking, this function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic control, which are turned up or dimmed down as required. Using the Matrix technology now makes it possible to open several tunnels at the same time. While these are "hidden", the high beam continues to illuminate all the areas between the vehicles and to the left and right of them at full power.
