Really beautiful model ships and boats can be admired in the Madurodam in The Hague - Holland. The model ships sail independently and there was also a ferry and a ship lock system that automatically processed the ships and lifted them into higher or deeper water. There was also a fire to be put out on a ship and with a tourist boat we were very close to how it sailed and turned in a picturesque waterway. Always with a beautiful miniature world in the background and sometimes you can even see fish swimming peacefully around the ships.
