Anemia खून में Low Haemoglobin की वजह से होता है
Males में Haemoglobin का normal level 12 से 15 gram होता है और Females में 12 से 14 grams रहता है
इससे नीचे के Haemoglobin के level का मतलब आपको Anaemia है

ज्यादा Blood Loss: Gastrointestinal tract से अगर Blood Loss होता है, जैसे कि Piles या Fissures, तो आपको Anemia हो सकता है। महिलाओं में Periods के दौरान ज्यादा Bleeding की वजह से भी Anemia हो सकता है
Bone Marrow में Haemoglobin का कम Production. इसकी मुख्य वजह Iron Deficiency है, या फिर Vitamin B12 की कमी होती है। अगर आपकी Body में Sickle Cell Anaemia जैसे Mutation की वजह से भी Anemia हो सकता है
कुछ Rare Cases में Blood Cancer या Aplastic Anemia की वजह से Anaemia हो सकता है
RBC की Life कम होने के कारण भी Patient को Anaemia हो सकता है

Anemia की Treatment उसकी Cause पर Depend करती है
अगर Blood Loss की वजह से Anemia हो रहा है, तो उसके लिए वो Blood Loss रोकना जरूरी है
अगर Iron Deficiency की कमी की वजह से Anaemia है तो Patient को Iron-rich Food खाना चाहिए। ऐसे Cases में खाने के तुरंत बाद चाय या कॉफी नहीं पीनी चाहिए
अगर Vitamin B12 की कमी की वजह से Anemia हो रहा है तो आपको Meat या B12 के Injections लेने चाहिए
Beta Thalassemia Major जैसे Mutation की वजह से होने वाले Anemia में Patient को Regular Blood Transfusion की जरूरत पड़ती है। ऐसे Case में Bone Marrow Transplant भी एक Treatment Option है
RBC Destruction की वजह से होने वाले Anemia में Certain Medications काफी Helpful होती हैं, जिसके लिए आपको Specialists से Consult करना चाहिए।
