Olympic National Park: Mount Storm King, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and Hoh Rainforest

Olympic National Park is one of Washington state's three major national parks. Located on a peninsula jutting out into the Pacific Ocean, this park is one of the most diverse national parks in the USA. From beautiful beaches and rainforests to rugged mountains and crystal clear lakes, this park has it all. We recently spent a week in this incredible park with friends and these are our adventures from our time this: a sunrise hike up Mount Storm King, camping, a swim in Lake Crescent, and a dip in Sol Duc Hot Springs.

Where to stay in Olympic National Park?
We always prefer camping when visiting Olympic National Park because it gets you right in the midst of the park. There are several official campgrounds spread throughout the park, many of which we have stayed at enjoyed. During this trip we decided to camp for free in the national forest that backs up to the national park which was wonderful! If you'd like to stay in a hotel, consider staying in Port Angeles, Forks, or Port Townsend.
