The Washington Backcountry Discovery Route is one of the premier overland routes in Washington State, and on this trip we set out to explore our FAVORITE parts of the Washington BDR.

One section in particular has become infamous for a series of washouts (known as the Beehive Washouts), where an off-camber steep drop down a VERY narrow washed out road, with a huge drop-off below .... makes for a memorable experience :)
