The 2024 Audi RS6 Avant has arrived in Australia in its new Performance flagship form, which is aptly named. Now, the much-loved five-door wagon already delivered incredible straight-line speed in the premium Large Sedan segment, but it's now levelled up – again.
Of course, the Performance nameplate is no stranger to Audi's RS series, where it's previously signified an even more powerful version of a particular model. Thankfully, it's a similar story here, with the RS6 Avant's 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 engine increasing its maximum outputs to 464kW of power (+22kW) and 850Nm of torque (+50Nm).
In this expert review, CarsGuide Senior Journalist Tom White takes the new BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG E63 rival for a drive on- and off-track to find out just how much better it is than its already fantastic predecessor.
