Jamil Ayyan features in Bol Hu as an instrumentalist, playing “Dambura”, an instrument at the verge of extinction, an instrument and melodies of his ancestors.
He’s actively trying to preserve Dambura and its music for his community and culture for the future generation to experience, and to not let it die down in the folds of time.
