Jürgen Klopp admitted Liverpool must improve if they are to win the Premier League title after their 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

'Of course you have to ask these questions. What does it mean for the title race? And stuff like this. I'm not dumb. And the answer is pretty easy. If we play like in the first half, why should we win the league?' he said. But despite having dropped five points in their last two Premier League games either side of a shocking 3-0 defeat to Atalanta in the Europa League, Klopp remains confident his side can regain their form and continue their challenge for the title alongside Manchester City and Arsenal. 'If we can win football games, then we will see how many we can win and then we will see what... we have to be around when the other guys now struggle, if they struggle. That's how it is.'
