This 1984 Bronco II was put out to pasture and forgotten about.
But, I rescued it and in a previous video gave it a new life with a carburetor swap. Ditching the antiquated EFI. Holley saw that video and wanted to prove that upgrading to a modern EFI is just as easy as reverting backwards to a carburetor.
Today, we install a Holley Sniper EFI 2300 for under $1400. Which seems like a lot of money until you add up the cost of a DuraSpark distributor, carburetor, and ignition module. For just about the same money, you can have drivability, tunability and fuel economy at your fingertips. An added bonus is the computer timing control will increase power and efficiency across the board. We’re betting we nearly double the fuel efficiency of the Bronco, paying for the upgrade within a few years.
