Legendary American singer and songwriter, Bobby Caldwell, has died. His most famous song was, What You Won’t Do For Love. This song reached the top ten on the Billboard magazine Hot 100. He was also known for his hits, Heart Of Mine, Take Me I’ll Follow, My Flame, and Open Your Eyes. Bobby also wrote many songs for other artists.
His last record, Cool Uncle, was released in 2015.
Bobby Caldwell passed away on March 14th, 2023. He was 71 years old.
Gary Rossington, American guitarist, and founding member, of Southern rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, has died at age 71. He founded Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1964. The group's most famous songs are, Free Bird. Sweet Home Alabama. What's Your Name. and That Smell. In 2006 Lynyrd Skynyrd was inducted, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Gary Rossington passed away on March 5th, 2023. He had health problems for decades.
He was the last surviving original member, of the Lynyrd Skynyrd band.
Australian actor, Terry Norris, died on March 20th, at age 92. He was best known for his roles in films, and TV series, such as, Judy and Punch. Jack Irish. Homicide. Herb Webb. and Cop Shop. His career spanned 61 years.
American politician, and former member of the US House of Representatives, Pat Schroeder, suffered a stroke recently, and died at a hospital, on March 13th, at the age of 82. She was a pioneer for women’s and family rights in Congress. Pat Schroeder was elected to Congress in Colorado in 1972, and won easily re-elected 11 times.
American actor, Lance Reddick, known for his roles in films, and TV shows, such as, John Wick, The Wire, and Angel Has Fallen. died at age 60.

Rebecca Jones, Mexican-American actress, who appeared in more than 40 films, and TV series, passed away on March 22nd, at age 65.
American guitarist, Wayne Swinny, died after suffering a brain hemorrhage, at the age of 59. He was a member of the rock band, Saliva, from 1996, until his death, on March 22nd, 2023.
Legendary American professional basketball player and coach, Willis Reed, died at age 80. He played in the National Basketball Association, for the New York Knicks, from 1964, to 1974. Willis Reed was a 2 time NBA champion. After retiring as a player, he served as assistant and head coach with several teams. Willis Reed passed away on March 21st. The cause of death was heart failure.
Welsh actor, Dafydd Hywel, died at age 72
He was known for his roles, as Glen Brennig, in the television series, Stella. and Ceri Joseph, in the television series, The Indian Doctor.
Olympic high jump champion, Dick Fosbury, died on March 12th, at the age of 76. The cause of death was lymphoma.
He won gold in the high jump at the 1968 Olympic Games, in Mexico City. He set a then-Olympic record, of 2.24 metres, to take the gold, and change the sport forever.
He is survived by his wife and stepdaughters.
Legendary Israeli actor, Chaim Topol, died at the age of 87.
He rose to fame in 1967. He was known for his role in the stage musical, Fiddler on the Roof, and the 1971 film adaptation. The President of Israel, called Topol, one of the giants of Israeli culture.
Chaim Topol died on March 8th, 2023.
Activist who led US disability rights movement, Judith Heumann, passed away in hospital, on March 4th, at age 75. She was hospitalized for a week dealing with heart issues. From a young age, Judith, who contracted polio in 1949, had to fight against stigma and exclusion. Her work produced significant contributions, to the development of human rights legislation, and policies benefiting children, and adults with disabilities.
One of the greatest jazz saxophonists of all time, Wayne Shorter, has died. He rose to fame in the late 1950s, as a member, of Jazz Messengers. His career spanned 63 years. He won 12 Grammy Awards. He received his last Grammy in 2023.
Wayne Shorter passed away surrounded by his family, on March 2nd, at age 89.
American actress, Sara Lane, has died. She was known for her role, as Russell Lane, in films such as, Schoolgirls in Chains. The Trial of Billy Jack. and Billy Jack Goes to Washington. She was also known for playing, Elizabeth Grainger, in the TV series, The Virginian.
Sara Lane is survived by her husband, and daughter.
Musicians Hall of Fame member, Michael Rhodes, passed away at his home, in Nashville, on March 4th, at the age of 69. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
He was known for his session work and touring in support of other artists. He played with Vince Gill on the tour of his Grammy-nominated album, These Days.
American singer and musician, David Lindley, died on March 4th, at age 78.
The cause of death is unknown. The musician had been known to have been ailing for some time.
He worked with a wide range of luminaries, most notably Jackson Browne. He was also known for a series of collaborations, with Ry Cooder.
