Brian Lloyd's review of the much-anticipated Wonder Woman sequel: Wonder Woman 1984.

The comic book sequel reunites star Gal Gadot with director Patty Jenkins while it also stars Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, Kristen Wiig, and Robin Wright.

"Wonder Woman 1984 is an effective comic-book movie that leans heavily on wholesomeness and optimism, leaving out any kind of moral ambiguity or nuance for bright colours and popcorn-friendly action and adventure."
