Improved Ride Performance. If you want to run a slightly larger tire on your TJ, this Rough Country 1.25 in. Body Lift Kit without Shocks will let you do just that. Unlike a suspension lift, this won't add articulation for off-roading or boost the height much. All this does is change the gap between the body and the frame. The benefit is that your ride quality should remain unchanged. You can install this along with a suspension lift. Another big advantage is cost, since this kit will run you significantly less than suspension lift kits. This lift kit has been designed by Rough Country to work on any 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, as long as it's not a 2005 to 2006 TJ with a stick shift.

Rugged and Complete Solution. This kit comes with blocks for all 11 body mounts, plus the extension for the grille, plus the grille bump stops. A transfer case bracket is also installed, helping to ensure the linkage stays in line, so you can shift smoothly after installing everything. The blocks are made of a fiberglass-reinforced nylon, making them particularly strong.

Straightforward to Put On. This is an easy installation, even though it's fairly involved and should take you anywhere from 3 to 4 hours. But you only need a socket set, and you can do this job in your driveway. You'll need to remove all the body bolts, jack up the body enough to put the blocks in place, and bolt all the new components in place.
