There are two main ways to get to Troquerville Falls, and Rattlesnake Gulch is the more challenging of the two. The trail crosses La Verkin Creek 30+ times on the way up to Torquerville Falls.

We did this in late February 2024 in our Kawasaki KRX with Mike from Maxxis leading the way in his Kawasaki KRX4. In a UTV with decent ground clearance, this is a pretty easy trail with some light rock crawling. Our KRX is running 35-inch Roxxzillas and Mike’s is running 37-inch. After a heavy rain, or in the springtime, these water crossings can be deep and fast. The Falls is a favorite tourist spot, and it is accessible from an easier road, so it can get a bit crowded at the top.

Trailhead: From State Street in Hurricane, go towards Virgin, UT, on Highway 9, to the Rattlesnake Gulch Trail. You can stage near the Valley Gun Club where Hwy 9 intersects with Rattlesnake Gulch (GPS 37.22622, -113.25253)
