The power adapter for the MagSafe charger doesn't come in the box, which means you might need to spend another $10–20 to even use it.

In our view, the MagSafe magnet is too strong, effectively making it not a wireless charger. It needs a heavier base so the MagSafe charger doesn't stay connected to your iPhone when you pick it up.

If you buy an adapter to extend the length of the cable and make it work with USB chargers you already own, you'll quickly realize the MagSafe charger doesn't work. It simply doesn't deliver enough power for that setup.
