Yesterday I had the pleasure to visit Aspire Boxing Club with Matchroom Boxing.

Have a listen to the children from their club speak about the importance of boxing, what it has done for them, helped them, kept them focused, showed them discipline. It’s sad to see that yet another club with close due to lack of funding.

Matchroom Boxing’s Alex Le Guevel Head of Community Development attended The Houses Of Parliament to push for funding for our Boxing Clubs across 🇬🇧

Armed with factual statistics Alex was able to geographically show the benefits of the clubs and why they need funding.

This video isn’t for a popularity contest it’s to show a glimpse into what Boxing does for young kids and how Matchroom Boxing are supporting keeping clubs open.

I love the sport but this was both inspiring and sad to see as the club is losing its home.
