After reading Yasmin Mogahed's work for years, we finally met her in person (after so long) and it was unreal!
While one of the audience told her that she made Islam and its teachings relatable, Yasmin Mogahed shone light upon the path of da'wah in today's world and helped me see that it is a journey worth taking (lillah). MasyaAllah.
The initial intention was to accompany my mom however, I am grateful nevertheless for the blessing to be present. As we continue to teach and share knowledge of the Deen, we do need avenues to keep learning, absorbing and be reminded too.
For those who attended, may this vlog be a reminder to prolong our spiritual high and make it sustainable. For those who wish that they could have attended, may the snippets bring benefit to you. Ameen.
