How much does the Milky Way weigh? Most of the mass of the galaxy is in the form of dark matter, which means we cannot directly measure it. But thanks to new observations by the Hubble Space Telescope and the Gaia Satellite, we now have the most accurate mass of the Milky Way ever measured.
