BMW's reputation was built of offering sporty, fast, and sleek cars over its more austere German rivals. The BMW 3-Series has long been the leader in that philosophy but about 7 years ago, the company changed the name of the 3-series coupe and convertible to the #4Series. For 2021, the #BMWM440i begins an era of new design direction for the company with the #M440i being the most powerful current offering in America, until the new #M4 and #M3 go on sale. Its beaver tooth front end will undoubtedly attract stares but it may not be in a good way. Thankfully, the 382 HP turbo inline-6 cylinder engine and standard #xDrive AWD will deliver consistent 0-60 performance in the 4 second range.
