The updated 2023 Mazda2 has arrived in Australia, bringing fresh looks and extra equipment to the fourth-generation light car – which is now almost 10 years old.

As with other Mazda cars, the Japanese brand’s most affordable new vehicle still looks the goods, but the value equation isn’t quite so rosy given prices have also increased with the latest upgrade.
