Under the bonnet resides a naturally aspirated 1.9-litre inline-four engine producing around 128bhp through a five-speed manual transmission. With some nice features such as 15-inch ‘Speedline’ alloy wheels, a sliding sunroof, central locking, electric windows and the original Philips radio cassette head unit, this hot hatch presents remarkably well.
Currently displaying 89,000 miles, the 205 GTI has been enthusiast-owned for the past nineteen years, and has clearly been very well cared for. Everywhere you look on this example, things are clean, fresh and well-kept.
