Ice cream bean trees grow very fast indeed! My sapling was constantly dehydrated and needed to be watered every 3 days to the point of saturation and filling up the runoff tray. There simply wasn't enough coco coir to supply the root ball with enough water past two days. Then the pot started falling over because the main trunk was askew and the coco coir didn't weigh enough dry to hold the plant down in the wind. I placed a big rock on top to counterbalance the trunk growing askew but the plant still fell over a second time later (not shown in this video). The new growth was languishing, and my ice cream bean sapling was starting to look beat up. I had to do a transplant as soon as possible.
