This circuit turns on and off LED lights with a simple touch of your finger. If you need to control AC Electronic and Electrical appliances like lights, Fan, AC etc. with touch, you can use modified version of this circuit by adding relay at the output.

Components Required:
You just need a breadboard and the following components to make this Touch Switch / Sensor circuit:
* 555 timer IC
* 6V DC Power Source
* 1 LED
* 270Ohm Resistor
* Breadboard Connectors
* Touch Probes

Circuit Description:
In this circuit, 555 timer is used as an operational amplifier combined with an electronic latch.
