As part of the Learn portion of our Summit, we had a chance to hear first-hand from actual students, teachers, and leaders levels from both K12 and Higher Education on how they were innovating around AI in their own context.

The session focused on highlighting voices and real world examples from both students and actual practitioners doing the hard day-to-day lifting. Our first showcase featured work being done at the district level, featuring the perspectives, experiences, strategies, and tactics taken by 3 different school districts:

Orange County DOE (CA)
Catawba Country Schools (NC)
Arcadia Unified School District (CA)

Some of the initiative highlights included:

- Empowering students and educators through AI networks for discussion and collaboration
- Establishing AI-empowered entities to lead in progressive technology use
- Developing ethical AI recommendations and literacy courses for staff and students
- Utilizing AI tools in classrooms to streamline teaching processes and enhance learning
- Emphasizing ethics, privacy, and literacy in Gen AI usage
- Transforming education and society through AI integration
