Infiniti has used hybrid technology in the best way possible, to increase both performance and fuel economy simultaneously. A 50kw electric motor is coupled with a 3.5L V6 which produces a combined output of 360hp. This is significantly higher than the BMW 335i. Despite its near 4200 lb curb weight the Q50s hybrid launches itself to 60mph in 5 seconds flat.

The q50s isn’t a one trick pony. Sure it’s good in a straight line but how about we add in the fact it gets 27mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Thats mighty impressive for a sports sedan.

A very unique and exciting feature about the Q50s is its adjustable steering. Users are able to select effort settings ranging from heavy to light, and response options from quick to casual. Infiniti refers to this as steer by wire. In case the system fails there is a backup mechanical steering column for safety.

The q50s is a beautiful car. The new exterior is lightyears ahead of the previous generation. Its got the looks, the performance and the technology to compete with BMW, Audi and Mercedes. I’m sold.
