I've been getting this question a lot lately: Should I root hardwood cuttings inside or outside? Well, the short answer is that your hardwood cuttings should be rooted outside. To ensure rooting success and to make your cuttings root faster, it's a good idea to use a gentle bottom heat when rooting hardwood cuttings outdoors.
