A tragic and sympathetic creature, King Kong is a giant ape species known as Mega primatus Kong, and is among the last of his kind living on Skull Island.

Despite being worshiped as a God by the natives of the Island, Kong lives a solitary existence – secluding himself by seeking out high elevations for security from the monstrous animals that co-inhabit the jungles of his home. In all of his film appearances, he displays immense physical strength, with the ability to aggressively combat various giant creatures, such as dinosaurs, snakes and giant bats. Kong demonstrates his extreme agility while traversing the dense jungles of Skul Island as well as possessing a remarkable intellect that allows for problem solving, and the use of environmental objects as tools.
