We have left Scotland and have overnighted in the Peak District National Park, just outside the village of Ilam. Ilam is in the Staffordshire Peaks and is a very scenic place.

We have planned to meet YouTuber Martin from Bentley on Tour but things get off to a rocky start.

We walk to Dovedale Stepping Stones and then decide to carry on to the hamlet of Milldale.


We have been living in our Elddis Encore 255 motorhome "Raymond" since April 2021, when we went fulltime with our rescue husky Nanook, AKA Nookie Monster.

Unfortunately Nanook passed away on Thursday 8th June 2023 after a short battle with cancer and we have been heartbroken by his loss, but he will always be a part of this channel.

In March 2023, Helen bought a 1993 Talbot Express Autosleeper Symphony, as she can't drive Raymond due to driving restrictions.

She now travels solo in "The Nook" when Karl travels solo on his Honda Fireblade motorbike.

We have always wanted to show the magic of nature and the beauty of places, regardless of the time of year.

We do show the ups & downs of vanlife too and we also show motorhome related content.
