We shot this video very quickly with an iPhone 13 Pro during a birthday party in May, 2023. We had to rework the story on the fly and improvise some new dialogue due to circumstances beyond our control. Shooting during the actual party was a challenge, and in the rush we couldn’t really dial in the acting or continuity. Shawn Marshall spent around 30 hours on the post production, editing the video, spotting in music and sound effects, motion tracking footage, compositing in the proton beams and lens flares, rigging, animating and rendering 3D elements, designing dynamics and particle simulations, and adding some color correction.
