University students in the Czech Republic were asked to look at 80 pictures of people at the age between 19 and 26 years old, 40 men and 40 women. Then they were supposed to rate people's trustworthiness on a 10 point scale. Those with brown eyes were ranked higher than the ones with blue eyes. Even though the correlation appears as obvious, it's not that simple. It was facial morphology linked to brown eyes that was more important than the eye color itself.
