From Bongo-Dua in the Upper East Region of Ghana, Nancy Mma-Ngaare Mba '23 came to Ashesi determined to prove to herself that it was possible to make an impact and positively influence others with or without a formal leadership position. At her Commencement Ceremony this year she was named one of three recipients of the President's Award; for representing a strong example of Ashesi's values of Scholarship, Leadership, and Citizenship.
